Just out of the studio and just in time for spring and all those Easter lilies!

“Lifetime Bloom”

“Lifetime Bloom”
Original Oil
30″ x 40″  $2600

An ancient poem from a Persian poet Rumi…

In your light I learn how to love.
In your beauty, how to make poems.
You dance inside my chest, where no one sees you,
But sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art.

Today, painting in my studio, I was suddenly overwhelmed with emotion, thinking of how God creates! My work, as much as I love it, is only a reminder of what God has created. In 3D he creates these real beauties that I only try and duplicate, and then he adds fragrance!
Sometimes I am overwhelmed riding around on this magnificent planet! This weekend, Michael and I watched “It’s a Wonderful Life” another reminder of being thankful … even in the hard times. Oh, so much to be grateful for!
Blessings friends,

Ginny

I was out in my studio and had a 30″ x 30″ gallery wrapped canvas prepped with gold gesso and thinking about Valentines Day coming up and decided to use reds and purples behind this magnolia. A few days earlier, my husband, Michael and I were listening to JJ Cale singing Magnolia, I told him that I love this song. Are you in the mood to hear it again …. here it is on YouTube. Enjoy.
Blessings,
Ginny
P.S. I was thinking of calling this painting Sweet Thing to go with the song.
